Personal Emergencies
Moving to a new college is a great experience. However, many students will be away from family and friends, possibly for the first time, and may feel they have no-one to turn to. If you have any problem whatsoever, be it academic or otherwise, there are a number of people in Trinity who are there to help you.

In case of financial difficulty, the Students' Union runs an emergency loan system - you can borrow up to €65 which you pay back as soon as you can.
If you are not an Irish national, your national embassy may be able to advise or help you in certain situations.
